Has life become so busy that the added pressures have affected your ability to maintain healthy habits? Do you eat out more than you cook? Maybe you don’t cook at all. You keep meaning to work out, but other things get in the way. You have tried so many diets to lose weight, and just can’t keep it off. You just need someone to help you figure out how you can fit ‘healthy’ in your life so that you can feel better, have more energy, feel good about yourself, and eat food full of flavor that you enjoy! You need someone to help you figure out which foods are better for your health, where to buy them, how to prepare them, how to plan ahead, what and how much exercise is enough, and how to not get overwhelmed. I won’t just help you with “what” to do and “why”, but also the “how”, understanding your unique circumstances.

I am not only the nutrition specialist. We will go beyond just what is on your plate. There are many parts of your life that affect the food and drink you consume. Also, the food and drink you consume affect many parts of your life! Work, busy schedules, family, stress, activity, relationships, and mood are all parts of your life we will address as we work together to find your best you.

“Diets” are temporary. My approach is more permanent. My goal is to empower you to make lasting changes that will improve your health so that you can live a more fulfilling life.

Program overview:

  • Presession paperwork

  • First session: Initial intake and home visit. 30-45 minute walk to discuss all initial information and goals, followed by a 30-45 minute home visit to assess home life, kitchen habits, pantry and refrigerator review.

  • Second session: Grocery store tour to answer all your in-store nutrition questions, discuss meal ideas and recipes

  • Weekly follow-up sessions via phone or Skype,up to 30 minutes.

  • Some in-person walking sessions scheduled throughout program

  • Coaching discussions will not only involve nutrition, but also physical activity, planning, time management, resilience to stress, mindfulness, short term goals, and long term goals, as they all relate to nutrition.

  • Unlimited email contact for questions, concerns, or self reporting!
